The Dog and I's very own award-winning, homemade coconut oil based dog soap. Perfect for horses too.
This award-winning homemade soap is made using the Hot Process Method which gives a more rustic looking soap and it does not need to cure as long as Cold Process Soap but otherwise is exactly the same.
Coconut oil gives a high foaming and highly cleansing soap. Perfect for those stinky paws, mucky muzzles and patches of fox poo all dogs seem to love. Also fantastic for greasy coats. Fabulous for getting right in to the base of horse manes and tails and also scrubbing white socks.
This 'bug busting' coconut oil soap contains nothing but coconut oil, lye, water, poppy seeds for added 'grip' and pure essential oils which have been specifically selected for their insect repelling properties.
Coconut oil gives a high foaming and highly cleansing soap and is well known for it's natural anti fungal and anti inflammatory properties. It contains Vitamin E and is an excellent moisturiser. All our soaps contain free floating coconut oil within each bar, just enough to moisturise the skin without weighing down the coat.
We only use a small amount of essential oils, approximately half that recommended for humans which is the recommended level for dogs.
ESSENTIAL OILS MUST NOT BE USED ON CATS.
Not suitable for Cockerpoos due to their specific coat care needs.
